Earth Day is such a wonderful reminder of the importance of caring for our planet!
I am thrilled to share that my PAC colleagues across the globe are dedicated to making our communities shine, not just on Earth Day but throughout the entire year!
To deepen our understanding of this crucial process, we organized tours of Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) for our PAC employees. It was an eye-opening experience to discover how recycling really works and the unique challenges some MRFs face.
If you, your coworkers, or your family have never visited an MRF and are curious about how they operate, I wholeheartedly encourage you to join a tour! It just so happens that the inaugural Recycling Action program Recyclers Across the Country Will Open Their Doors to the Public This May – Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) is right around the corner and will let you do just that, tour a MRF and see first-hand how recycling works.
Throughout the month of May, plastic recycling facilities, including 25 MRFs, will welcome visitors for engaging tours and informative sessions. This is an amazing chance to connect with the Recycling in Action – Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) and understand how we can all contribute to the circular economy instead of leaving recyclables behind in our environment. Let’s spread the word, get involved, and immerse ourselves in the wonderful world of recycling. Thank you for your interest, and let’s make a positive impact together for Mother Earth!
