As we pause and reflect on 2020, it has been a year unlike any other in our 45-year history! As always, we came out of the busy 2019 holiday season optimistic for our team and customers, ready to regroup and focus on our goals ahead of us. But little did we know that a global pandemic would make keeping up with the significant increase in demand for e-commerce shipping materials a top priority, second only to keeping our employees safe. Our employees came together to help PAC achieve a successful result; 2020 has thrown many problems our way, but we have risen to the challenge!
One thing we learned throughout the year is just how important e-commerce shipping is and will continue to be in the future. The COVID-19 pandemic has presented a unique situation that increased e-commerce demand in many key sectors. Many of these products, such as perishable foods and medications, rely on unique shipping products that PAC can help fulfill. When the COVID-19 pandemic wanes, experts agree that we will continue to see an uptick in consumers who turn to e-commerce for their everyday consumables.
What does this mean for our customers? As an e-commerce retailer today, flexibility and agility are key to survival; changes to business strategy, product inventory, shipping practices, and marketing tactics are inevitable.
