Now that the elections are finally over, can we start to focus on some more important things, like the impending Cyber Monday. That is right kids, it is time to shop for your holiday gifts. In 2011 shoppers spent $1.25 billion on Cyber Monday, a 22% increase over 2010. Let’s hope the e-tailers have made the right decision when it comes to packaging your oh so precious gifts this year.
Hopefully they are shipping your tablet computer you ordered in a JumboJacket versus the old corrugate box. Think of all the money they will save on materials and shipping by switching to a Jumbojacket. And think of how much fun your kids will have popping the bubbles! Playing in/with corrugate boxes is so passé.
And let us not forget the e-tailers who ship soft goods (sweaters, shirts, pants, you get the idea). Heaven forbid they just ship these in a plain, old flat poly mailer. What do you do when the sweater you receive is just not quite right (the large santa stitched on the front looks more like a scary clown)? You hope you still have the bag and it is not ripped to shreds, find some tape, tape it up and send it back.
Or the e-tailer has been working with a fine sales rep from PAC Worldwide and has designed a killer custom branded poly mailer with a dual adhesive for easy returns. Making your life and theirs so much easier
Good luck and good shopping!
